Friday, August 17Temple Hatikva invites you to join us for our Shabbat Service and 8th Birthday celebration, starting at 7:30 p.m.  The service will be followed by a fellowship Oneg Shabbat, complete with birthday cake to celebrate this milestone.

Friday, October 19You are invited to attend the first Fall Shabbat Service of the new year, starting at 7:30 p.m.   Our services, traditional, yet modern, are conducted in both Hebrew and English.  The service will be followed by a  free fellowship Oneg Shabbat, complete with refreshments.  All welcome to join us in prayer and fellowship.

Sunday, October 21 – Temple Hatikva will begin our new Adult Education series with the showing of a critically acclaimed documentary about Israel, culminating the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Israel’s founding in 1948.  All Adult Education sessions begin at 10 a.m. with a FEE bagel breakfast, sponsored by the Shalom Jewish Funeral Home.  Please RSVP at or call (917) 819-2456.

Dates of future Shabbat Services are Fridays, November 9, December 21, January 18, February 15, March 22, April 26, May 17 and June 14.

In the coming months of Adult Ed, Cantor Kyle will cover various stages of the Jewish Life Cycle.  Future dates are Sundays, November 11, December 23, March 24, April 28 and May 19.
