Bronx House is thrilled to continue our partnership with Temple Hatikva – a Reform/Conservative congregation that serves anyone of the Jewish faith, interfaith individuals or families, and anyone else interested. We invite you to join them for their traditional, yet modern services.

High Holiday Services at Temple Hatikva – All services are FREE of charge.  However, seating is limited, so we ask that you RSVP.  Rosh Hashana services will be held on September 21 & 22, starting at 10 a.m.  Kol Nidre service will begin at 7:30 p.m. on September 29.  Yom Kippur services on September 30 will begin, as follows:  Morning Service at 10 a.m., Yiskor Memorial Service at 12 noon, Concluding Service at 6 p.m. Please RSVP at or call (917) 819-2456 to insure adequate seating and refreshments at the Kiddushim following the Rosh Hashanah services.

Friday, October 20You are invited to attend our next Shabbat Service, starting at 7:30 p.m., when we will be celebrating the 7th Birthday of Temple Hatikva.   Our services, traditional, yet modern, are conducted in both Hebrew and English.  The service will be followed by a fellowship Oneg Shabbat, complete with birthday cake to celebrate this milestone.  All welcome to join us in prayer and fellowship.

Sunday, October 22 – Temple Hatikva will kick off our new Adult Education series with a special guest presenter.  Ellen Levitt, author of “The Lost Synagogues of NYC and NJ” will deliver a slide lecture on The Lost Synagogues of the Bronx.  All Adult Education sessions begin at 10 a.m. with a FEE bagel breakfast, sponsored by the Shalom Jewish Funeral Home.  Please RSVP at or call (917) 819-2456.
