3-K For All offers the same program as Pre-K For All (see below). Bronx House offers two 3-K classrooms at both sites (Pelham Pkwy S & Wallace Ave).
Pre-K For All (Age 4)
For the 2025-2026 school year Bronx House is proud to offer our Pre-K for All (PKA) program in conjunction with the NYC Department of Education for children born in 2022 (and 2023 for 3K).
DOE applications for the 2025-2026 school year for children born in 2020 for 4K (and 2021 for 3K) are closed, but please reach out to us to be added to the waitlist.
Acceptance Letters for parents who applied through Myschools were distributed in late May 2025.
Pre-K for All is an initiative that brings free, full-day, high-quality pre-K to every New York City child, preparing our youngest scholars for success in Kindergarten and beyond. Our 3-K and Pre-K For All classrooms are designed for 15 and 18 children and contain one (1) head teacher and one (1) assistant teacher.
Pre-K for All believes that free, full-day, high-quality pre-K lays the critical foundation of skills and knowledge for children to thrive in school and life. This investment in our youngest learners is an investment in the future of New York City.

Full-Day Pre-Kindergarten Hours: 8:30 am – 2:50 pm
Extended Hours: 8 am – 6 pm (only offered at the 990 location)
Pre-K For All Registration
- ONLY applicants with Department of Education acceptance letters and ALL required documents will be permitted to register.
- You must bring your child with you in order to register.
- All others who wish to apply must be wait-listed.

Bronx House offers an option for early arrival beginning at 8 am and late pick up until 6 pm for Pre-K For All families requiring additional hours outside of the regularly scheduled Pre-K For All hours. The Extended Day program offers children an opportunity to extend their learning and exploration through purposeful play in this program designed specifically for children ages 3 to 5 years old., Daily activities include, but are not limited to Center Time, Gross Motor Play in the Playroom, Arts and Crafts, and Snack and Storytime.

Summer-inspired themes and fun in the sprinklers make this program the perfect introduction to the summer camp experience!
Led by our very own Early Childhood staff, Summer Fun is jam-packed with educational and exciting activities designed just for your little one! This 7.5-week program will be filled with weekly summertime-inspired themes, such as “Water Exploration” and “Gardening”.
Children will enjoy neighborhood trips, fun in the sprinklers, and picnics on the parkway. They will gain a love for the summer camp experience that will prepare them for the Bronx House Day Camp for the following year.
