ACTIVITIES

Dance: Students will explore creative movement, build confidence, and develop both physical and social skills through the art of dance. The goals of this activity are to improve coordination, flexibility, balance, and overall confidence.

Sports: To promote physical health, teamwork, discipline, and emotional well-being among middle school students through structured, inclusive, and engaging sports activities.

STEM: To spark curiosity, problem-solving skills, and innovative thinking in middle school students through hands-on, engaging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) projects that connect academic concepts to real-world applications.

Leadership: Leadership activities help students develop decision-making, empathy, teamwork, and public speaking—all essential for both personal and academic growth.

Drumming: Students will learn the basic hand techniques like open tones, slaps, and bass tones, and how to play popular rhythms from Afro-Cuban and Latin music.

Martial Arts: Students will learn the “8 Point Blocking System.” Each class will include coordination skills, fun techniques, and martial arts drills.
