NYC DYCD SONYC Middle School Program at MS 135 – Pelham Academy

Through SONYC (School’s Out NYC) funding from the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development, Bronx House provides a FREE after-school program for middle school students at MS 135 – Pelham Academy.

Our program offers a safe, structured, and engaging environment where students can participate in a variety of academic, enrichment, and recreational activities. We support students in building strong academic habits through homework help and academic support, while also giving them opportunities to explore their interests through hands-on clubs and experiences.

Our goal is to support the overall development of each student by promoting academic growth, social-emotional learning, leadership development, and healthy lifestyles. Students are encouraged to build confidence, build meaningful relationships, and explore different interests, including potential career pathways, in a supportive and welcoming environment.
