The following programs are FREE and open to Tweens and Teens thanks to the generous support of New York City Council Member Marjorie Velázquez, the New York City Department of Youth & Community Development, and United Neighborhood Houses. These programs run until June 2023.
Tween Program

The Tween lounge is a great place fun games like pool, ping-pong, air hockey, board games, tournaments, special activities, music, and homework help!
Saturday Night Live at Bronx House

We welcome all Tweens to join us for a variety of fun games and themed activities. Bronx House is the place to be when it comes to catching up with old and new friends in a relaxed environment. Pizza and refreshments will be provided.
FREE – High School & College Readiness for Tweens
Fridays, 6-7:15 pm

Tweens will explore diverse high schools, learn what high school life is all about and learn what being a high school student is like. They will also explore their interests, talents, skills and career goals, diverse colleges and universities and learn what it takes to succeed in high school to help them have the best chance to get into the colleges and universities of their choosing.

College Tours
Bronx House offers two college tours throughout the school year for students in grades 9-12. Students will be exposed to colleges and universities in the Tri-State. Teens will have the opportunity to receive firsthand information regarding college life.
FREE – S.A.T. Prep Course

Students getting ready for college will benefit from Bronx House S.A.T. Prep Classes. Students will feel comfortable taking the exam and learning strategies and techniques that will help boost their scores. Materials will be provided.
FREE – College Readiness for High School Students
Saturdays, 12:30-1:30 pm
April 22-June 17
High School students will learn the steps needed to apply to college and explore their interests, talents, skills and career goals. Students will also explore diverse colleges and universities, what college life is all about, and learn what being a college student is like. The process of applying for scholarships and financial aid will also be explored.
